Space Invaders

Okay, just shoot everything that moves =)
The small invaders grant you as many points as the level you are in. The red UFO gives you a stunning 50 Points at once. You should dodge the shots the invaders shoot at you, but you can also shoot these shots. Try playing with the keyboard. This is much easier than playing with the mouse, the arrowkeys move and space fires. Tactically it's the best idea to start shooting the invaders in the middle first, because this will stop the remaining guys from running all across the screen. But don't let them come too close.
As soon as you scored 1000 points you'll get your very first and hard earned dollar.
Now walk to the bike again and set the lever to the second machine. With this setting you can power the second arcade machine. You can play space invaders again of course but you won't get any money for it. So, let's play the second arcade game:

Escape

The escape game is as simple as it is tricky. The gameplay is simple but the levels are tricky. Your ultimate goal in the escape arcade game in machinarium is to move the small blue dot, that actually is a square, into and out of the red squares on their open side.
You move the square with the 4 direction buttons below the screen of the arcade cabinet and in case you screwed up you can reset the level with the round red button to the right.

It can be hard to describe the solutions to these levels so I will list the directions you need to take in every level first and above the actual textual solution.
(D = down, U = up, L = left, R = right).
Level 1:

This first level is so easy that you don't even need a description. You can escape this level in 5 moves. You can do it!
Now it's getting interesting. Move the big red square from the middle to the left to make sure you can come back up, then move the small white square to the lower right edge. Then move the big red square back into the middle. After you did this you use the little red square to drive into the very good positioned white square. Move both squares all the way to the top and from the top it's easy to get into the big red square. Now you just have to move to the exit.
Level 3:

Just do the only thing possible, go down and move to the right. From here you move the big red square up, just because you can't do anything else. Then move the small red square down to be able to escape the upper white square again after you move this upper white square to the left now. Position the small red square in the middle-left again, get the lower white square and slowly move the small red square step by step to the right until it lands right inside the big red square and you can access the next level.
At first you move the big red square into the upper left edge, then move the small red square to the right, and the small white one too. Now move the big red square one step down, and move both small squares one step to the left again to finally move the white one into the big red square. Move both of them up and drive the white square all the way to the right and then down to keep it there and out of the way of the rest of the action. Move the big red square down again and the small red square into it like you always wanted to. Now move to the exit and the level is done.
Level 5:

Put the upper white square into the right upper edge, then move the small red square to the left and get out, then move the big red square into the left edge, get back into the upper white square and move it over the big red square. Get inside the big red square, move it one step to the right, then enter the small red square and move it one step to the left. Get back into the big red square and move to the left, get into the upper white square, move one step to the right and get into the lower white square. Move this white square up and all the way to the right. Now get into the other upper white square, move above the big red square again, get into it and step one step to the right. Now move the small red square one step to the left, the upperright white square down and use the small red square to get into the just moved white square. Now move both of them up and smoothly move the small red square into the big red square to finish off this level.
After you completed the fifth level of the escape game in machinariums arcade you earn another dollar. So now you don't need any more money, but you can try your luck with the third machine anyways. But you won't get all that far and earn a third coin. And sadly it is impossible to repair the third arcade machine to play it and get a third dollar. But of course you can replay the other two arcade games as many times as you want, but you won't get any more money for this. And you have to complete both arcade cabinets. It doesn't work if you play your favourite game twice as you only get one coin once for every completed arcade cabinet.
So, head back to the churchsquare.
Put the two coins into the battery machine and receive your two batteries. But you can't give them to the robocop like that. Use the bandage from the rusty robot to tie them together. Yeah, that's what the robocop wants, so let's rush to him. To do so just go to the connection between church square and lowtown and jump up to the drainpipe and climb up all the way to the robocop. Of course you can also drive up with the elevator at the city wall, but there you first have to go down and let your girlfriend refill the gas, so climbing up the drainpipe is a lot faster and less stressful. But on the other side... the view from the elevator at the city wall is great!
